Hi, I’m Nikki Kajmowicz
A UX Designer from Chicago passionate about creating user friendly experiences.
I am a free spirited, adventurer with an innate sense of curiosity. I intentionally push myself to explore new and unknown experiences in order to grow and reveal my own strengths.
As a UX Designer I bring empathy and the ability to put myself in the role of the user to better understand the users needs and wants. I bring innovation and creative thought when designing solutions. I strive for that aha moment, when the fog clears and the accumulation of various pieces form into a clear direction. I enjoy creating things both digital and physical which are practical and useful, ornamental and beautiful.
I have been designing user experiences for 8 years…
2018 – Present
Most recently I joined the team at Mazakali LLC, where I am responsible for designing all things creative. I design captivating and informative presentation decks for events at national and international conferences where the CEO serves as a keynote speaker. I also work with the team to create marketing material and the businesses presentation decks presented to investors to raise business capital.
2017 – Present
For the past two years I have been designing digital user experiences in the form of an ecommerce site. I carefully consider all the details for over 5,000 listings; such as product image photography, individual listing information and customer expectations, to create a positive online customer experience. With the end goal of creating happy customers, a brand customers trust and repeat clientele.
2013-2017
As Event Director at Merlo on Maple, I designed over 120 events for up to 100 guests. I relied on my ability to empathize with clients to understand their needs and wants in order to design events that exceeded expectations and provided a memorable experience.
2010-2013
As Assistant Art Director at Homey Gallery I designed and executed over 25 fine art exhibits. I was responsible for considering every aspect of business needs, the customer wants and exhibiting artists goals in order to facilitate successful exhibits.
